Do link exchanges still work?
Believe it or not, I haven’t played around much with link exchanges. I’ve been in the “if you build it, they will come” mindset — I’ve just been focused on building the site and adding new features, and I haven’t actively done too much to increase traffic (with the notable exception of making the front page of Digg).
So, I’m going to try this experiment: Everyday Weekender is a fun site that talks about everything from cottage life to food. If you review his blog, he値l link to it and help increase your page rank. It’s a great idea and I’m not sure why I haven’t seen this done more often in the blogosphere.
